For softer light and more comfortable temperatures, ceremonies are generally best scheduled approximately 1.5 to 2 hours before sunset. The ideal time depends on the season, venue orientation, ceremony length, and photography plans, so I review these details individually.

Do resorts charge outside-vendor fees?

Many resorts charge an outside-vendor fee, require a day pass, or have specific rules for external photographers. Policies can change and may apply even to locally based photographers. Ask your coordinator for the current written policy before signing your photography contract.

What happens if it rains?

Tropical showers often pass quickly. I remain flexible and coordinate with your planner when the timeline needs to change. Covered terraces, resort interiors, creative lighting, and beautiful post-rain skies can all become part of the photography plan.

When will we receive our photographs?

A preview gallery is typically delivered within 48–72 hours. Your complete edited gallery is normally delivered through a private online gallery within 6–8 weeks.
