Underwater photography workshop in Tulum
“I saw your underwater photography about 4 years ago”, Yuki told me.
I didn’t know my work was seen in Japan, I though “this is awesome” Previously I thought he saw my work because he was coming for his honey moon to Mexico and wanted to do a workshop and just search the web for that.
I met them Yuki and Chie his wife in Playa del Carmen the first work shop day and immediately feel their kindness and high level of respect to other people, very educated.
We spend one day of theory workshop about dive and swim techniques, light, shoot skills and many other things, was great and the second day we spend a couple of hours in a Cenote in Tulum to show him what I do and how I do.
Last minute cancelation of the models for the workshop we had to take Chie offer to be the model, anyway she will get extra shoots so we all win
The most important thing in underwater photography is swimming, not for the couple, for the photographer, the best you swim the better photos can be taken, I am still not saying I am getting good shoots, I just try to.
I love how this pose look on asian people, bring me images in my mind about those places and the strong affection for the religion, Asia is an amazing area to visit and I hope I do some day.
