Niral and Bimal Hindu wedding Hard Rock Riviera Maya

I totally love Hindu wedding and I am always excited with the idea of shooting more and more, Maybe because they may be the richest when we talk about activities and probably the longest wedding event.

They can last several days and Niral and Bimal last around 5 days, Although I just shot 4 days, this makes my post complicated to decide which ones to select for the story.

The beginning of the story was a warm meeting with Bimal, Niral and their parent to discussed details regarding their wedding and the events during the 4 days of coverage.

The fist stop for us was the Hindu engagement or Sagaai Ceremony, where my eyes enjoy the colorful  and soulful ceremony, In the slide shown above It’s the first set of photographs.

Check the Hindu portraits right after the Sagaai wedding Ceremony,  I look for bright soft light and a dark background to pop the outfits.

After a deserved break I came back for the fantastic Mehndi party where Niral got henna tattoos in her arms, one awesome fact was their names in each others hand, hidden with the intention of been surprisingly found by each other.

Of course, I looked to shoot some portraits with a different indian outfit follow by a gorgeous fire dancers  and wet drum performance show, I must see photos.

The next day my super charm friends got ready for a symbolic ceremony, they exchange rings and had some cold fire at the end of the ceremony, now really weird see them in regular wedding outfit, my eyes blown by the diversity in just one wedding.

The last day, sadly to say, the most wanted, the most waited for, the Hindu wedding ceremony will be held, an event the threatening  sky couldn’t stop us to celebrate, nothing could stop us at this point, we all were decided to go on.

A brief rain fall in Playa del Carmen releasing a wave of humid heat, for our lucky day we head to the Hindu wedding Reception in the ballroom, so we absolutely felt AMAZING.

Thank you to Veronica de La Paz for their great work on the henna tattoos, to Natacha Bitsch of Vo Evolution for the and Styling Trio Riviera Maya for the amazing make up work, and Alejandro of GallardoyAlaman films for the amazing video, Latin Asia for the gorgeous set ups, Drums in Paradise,  and of course the Hard Rock Riviera Maya wedding coordination for the amazing event.
