Somewhere I heard or read: “If you don’t spent enough time in your photos, probably audience will not spend much time as well looking at your photos”.
This is simple but not easy and takes a lifetime of a constant improvement observation skill
In a simple phrase Dorothy Parker once said can say how important a photo can be with time passing by “Hate to take photos but I love I have done” it doesn’t matter anything and I mean it, you will love to watch your old photos again and again.
Additionally many other things are required to be a good photographer stubborn, tough and persistent, click only because we had a bottom is not enough, images are made in our brains and express through our available tools: cameras, pens, paintbrushes.
For a photographer all end up in finding our own vision, ironically that never ends, but it is a huge improvement when you start to stand out from others, unfortunately stand out is relative on how wide you move in the market
Did I ever mention that I became a “social” photographer when my grandparent died and I had just some few shoots and documents that did not gave me an idea on how he was, what he did, where he was, etc
I had, in some way, even in a small way, to help people have their memories, I would do for free If I could, photograph people and provide invaluable memories to laugh, small, joy, cry, and remember ever single detail of the time of the moment of the circumstances
