This was a rainy day wedding, obviously no one wants it to rain, but It is what It is as well as photos, a mirror of reality, well I was saying this was a rainy day and Bride felt unconfident due to the rain and how pictures will turn out, for me a different day, call it rain, hurricane, dark day, etc It is an opportunity to do new things, so everything is cloudy and It rained most of the time but also we got some spot light through the clouds,s o I got this wedding pictures that otherwise I may have not gotten.
Beach Trash the dress are very popular in the Riviera Maya, Playa del Carmen and Cancun, Brides look for the turquoise water of the ocean, instead I look for unique compositions and unique moments of course when possible, trash the dress in the beach is something really nice but It lacks of elements to play with so one hour is a cool time to get the nice colours of the blue caribbean ocean in the trash the dress pictures, here I saw the composition and light first, then I ask the 2 kids to not get scared or shy about the pictures and keep doing what ever they want to do, It was hard specially of people Italian not speaking Spanish or english, I love the moment!
Same thing about this picture, a similar thing regarding using the ocean as background, I love the wedding pictures of the couple in the ocean of Los Cabos, but I found this tree more interesting, at least for this picture, love the cool skies in Los Cabos,very different than in the Caribbean
The story to arribe to Lima, Peru and find out that during winter It is always cloudy but It never really rains, but as some other comments every situation Its an opportunity, here si the result of a cloudy day, really unusual look of a place, at least for me that live in Cancun and Tulum
What so say about Mexican weddings, very long weddings of 16 or 20 hours, 250 to 1000 of guests, wedding ceremony, most of the time catholics, so Bride and Groom Photo session are always at night, but what to say when you do it in a place lie Hacienda Uayamon in Campeche and they light the ruins like the 2 pictures below, heck ! jus do it the best you can! the bride and groom I felt they didn’t wanted to go out, but I did pushed them we can’t missed this opportunity and they are thankful for that!
This wedding shoot has a story behind, I have shot here before, a couple and also I shared the wedding shoot, I wanted to shoot a bride here too, the day I post produce this wedding photography I friend of mine upload a similar one, so I didn’t want to upload it, but now I am doing in it and love it!
In this wedding I did the Bride and Groom portrait session during the day, but I saw this photo opportunity because of the dark situation of the location, I also used a new tool I had for lighting, the result is an amazingly creative photo
