Trash the dress, also known as fearless bridal or rock the frock, is a style of wedding photography that contrasts elegant clothing with an environment in which it is out of place. It is generally shot in the style of fashion and glamour photography. “Trash the dress” is the art of destruction or deconstruction of a bride’s wedding dress to create a new “artwork” that the bride would be proud to display on their wall. This new “masterpiece” is formed in the creative destruction of the dress. This will normally be portrayed in a sequence of images or simply a single image.

Usually brides decide to have pictures taken on a beach or underwater as we do, but other locations include city streets, rooftops, garbage dumps, fields, and abandoned buildings.

The idea of destroying a wedding dress has been used symbolically,  the style has spread around the world  we shoot our unique ideas of Trash the Dress, like underwater photography and more!

Brides are increasingly expecting more from their weddings photos, and trash the dress is an example of these expectations. Brides and grooms want to feature in the art on the walls of their homes.

A model often wears a ball gown, prom dress or wedding dress, and may effectively ruin the dress in the process by getting it wet, dirty or in extreme circumstances tearing or destroying the garment.

It may be done as an additional shoot after the wedding, almost as a declaration that the wedding is done and the dress will not be used again. It is seen as an alternative to storing the dress away.

What amazing can be a underwater shoot, when you shoot half-half , we love this shoot because  the red color over them, which actually is outside the water, that reflects from a cenote wall in a cave, they are lighted by natural light, a nice beam :)

This nice effect was discover by mistake, suck a great thing for us! we got excited to see those rhombus  in front of the couple, so we asked for a kiss, this was to hard to get, I bet the couple LOVEd the picture as we did :)

in a way to do different things we do a lot of ideas, some better than the others, we just love how we could convince 2 of the earth elements, water and Air and how cool is have such a magical place in this shoot, cenotes, fishes, jungle :)

We have been trying to get this shoot perfect and each time we do the underwater shoot turn out so cool and different

this is a classic underwater shoot, kissing and swimming towards each other but the read warm on the top of the surface made this shoot so unique

In the Cenote caves were many though  it was so dark, we had to create light, the first time we did, we used a plastic back to have the LED down behind them in backlit and we use a mirror to fill them with light, suck a nice idea!

We learned that we need to do every single shoot, we can not hesitate in any way, so this happen in many weddings and we do not regret! the unexpected is what we get in many times, we love here hoe the pal trees makes nice sharp forms of them around the couple, the reds and blues of this great sunset makes it worth more, Jessica and Ziggy did a fantastic job and we thank them for this!

The simply of this pictures makes us be satisfied and the home like environment  give us some warm feeling, the kiss made this pictures possible :)

Traditional wedding photography provides for more classically posed images and a great deal of photographer control interaction on the day of the wedding like family pictures. A Documentary or Photojournalist style of wedding photography takes its cue from editorial reporting and documentary styles and focuses more on candid images that has real moments with little photographer interaction, moments will last for ever!, and finally fine art wedding photography is the art of creatively create  and naturally get amazing photography, having said that we use our Documentary photos to tell a story, the story of your wedding day, let us document and create fantastic wedding photos, your wedding day deserve the best!

We love shooting off camera flash in weddings photo shoot, this kind of session makes us re born after a hard day of journalistic  wedding shooting style, we almost did not shout our eyes for a second in hours so we get the best moments for this lovely bride.

Anell setup the lighting for me, just one flash with no diffuser or light softener mixed with ambient light, these  shoots made me smile all night long!

I love to “frame” the bride and groom portraits taking advantage of the stuff around the spot, I did try this lighting Technique that I love the result, maybe the pictures is too normal for my own style, but has something different!

I frgot to say that my wife is back on the bussiness!!

It is weird when you have your last minute, your last photo before a photo session ends, you never imagine, at least to me, which picture will be the best, and then wow! You can’t believe even I though on this I didn’t think I could get it better.

I know some of you have already seen this one, sorry for this but my “Photo of the day” and my other posts in Facebook and Flickr have not been coordinated due to initial begining times of each project,
